Hearing Evaluations for Adults
A hearing test provides an evaluation of the sensitivity of a person’s sense of hearing. An evaluation of your hearing may include listening to pure tone beeping sounds and or a series of words. In some cases, we may use equipment that is designed to tell us how well sound travels through the middle ear space.
Hearing Evaluations for Children
The most important language and speech development period is generally during the first three years of life. Hearing impairment needs to be recognized as early in life as possible so that your child has the best chance at enjoying normal development of their communication skills.

Our Audiologist
Dr. Logan DeBuys, Au.D. CCC-A
Dr. Logan DeBuys was born and raised in Selma, Alabama. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders from the University of Alabama in 2018. Shortly after obtaining her undergraduate degree, she attended the University of South Alabama to pursue her doctorate in audiology. Logan moved to Birmingham in 2021 to complete her 4th Year Clinical Externship in Audiology. After graduating with honors in May of 2022, she officially began her career as an audiologist with McCool and Bhuta ENT and Hearing Aid Clinic. Logan specializes in diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology with a special interest in adult amplification. Logan frequently says, “The most rewarding aspect of my career is the opportunity to forge meaningful relationships with my patients.” This mindset truly distinguishes her within her field. Logan is licensed to practice audiology in the state of Alabama.
